The staff at reception were most efficient and always polite, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast staff were also exceptionally helpful and always greeted us with a smile, friendly but not too intrusive.

We were greatly impressed with the service at this hotel. The manager even came out to help us find a parking space and left us his brolley so we didn't get wet, what a star.

The staff are fantastic! They are from all four corners of the world but are friendly, welcoming and have a great attitude and can't do enough for you. The room was clean and on a very cold day, lovely and warm with an extremely comfortable bed. To say the hotel is a little tired is probably fair but for me.

Great location and although I walked the long way round from the station the town square works seem to be nearly over. Very friendly staff. Recommended the chef's curry special and was very authentic - no surprise as he turned out to be Indian. Restaurant is very dramatic 'days of the Raj'. Room fine clean and quiet. Sneaked in to the Rugby league Hall of fame - very interesting little bonus.

Sorry that I seemed to have missed you on my way out, but I just wanted to say a big thank you to you and your staff for hosting us this afternoon. Our lunch was delicious, especially the beef, and all our guests left in good spirits. Many thanks again - and see you for our next session on 2nd July!

They were really impressed with the hotel, and there were a couple of pretty late arrivals and the kitchen had stayed open to accommodate them - which was much appreciated. The only negative was that there wasn't air con in the bedrooms - and as it was so hot last week I think a couple of people didn't get as good a nights sleep as they would have perhaps liked.
