I moved the the UK a short while ago and stayed at the Bulters Hotel intermediately while I tried to find permanent residence. While the beds left something to be desired it was as welcoming as it gets. The staff and service were tremendous both in answering my questions before I booked as well as taking care of me during my stay. I felt safe, welcome and at home in a time where I had just entered a strange country and knew no one. I cannot stress how much the staff accommodated my requests, from food orders in the downstairs restaurant, allowing me to use their telephone and helpful tips and directions. I would highly recommend the Butlers Hotel to anyone.

Very relaxed, they enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed being there. Food was very good and served with a smile!!!! Would happily take any member of staff out for a drink. Well done.

Really nice quiet room. Liked the rooftops and being opposite the bathroom. Really appreciated being put on the quieter top floor.

We checked in quite early in the afternoon which was lovely, and we parked easily in the back. The man at the front desk was very welcoming and said we had the option to choose breakfast or not the next morning, which was great since we were unsure of our schedule. The main door locks at midnight but they give you a security code to get in after a night on the town.
We stayed in the Bronte Room. The room was cute and old fashioned, with wallpaper and lots of photos on the wall. The bed was a bit springy and wobbly but I had a surprisingly good sleep on it. The shower/tub was lackluster, as pressure and heat wasn't very good, but it certainly was good enough for a shower in the morning to get back on the road.
I'd probably do more research next time I traveled into Leeds but the location was fantastic visiting a friend at the University. We walked everywhere along our bar path and ended up at a nightclub that we could walk back from as well.
